9 Stylish Athletes and Olympians That Love to Wear Diamonds

With the 2024 Paris Olympics anchoring the summer sporting calendar, along with Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, Copa América and Euro Cup, it’s high time we take a closer examination at the world’s most stylish athletes and their glorious appreciation for the finer luxuries—namely natural diamonds.

With Olympians like Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles bringing home medals from Paris, it only makes sense they accessorize their new bling with natural diamonds.

Much has been said about Simone Biles’ jaw-dropping vaults, which recently helped her win the gold all-around, team, and vault medals, but let’s take a beat to talk about her style evolution. The most decorated American gymnast, who came for more wins at the Paris Olympics, has her gold, silver, and bronze but she’s quickly racking up diamonds and recognition as a stylish athlete as well. 

To complement her bedazzled leotards, Biles accents her multiple piercings with diamond studs, bringing additional wattage to her floor routine. Not one to settle for the bare minimum, in February 2020 she shared an Instagram post with what appeared to be an edgy diamond sternum piercing on her chest. Just when we thought the champ couldn’t get any sparklier, she debuted a diamond-covered goat pendant from Janet Heller Jewelers to celebrate her G.O.A.T status after winning the gymnastics all-around at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

To celebrate her gold medal win in the team competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Chiles flashed a new set of natural diamond and gold grills, custom-made by jeweler Jimmy Phan, best known as Jimmy Boi of Done Right and Co.

Noah Lyles

The current fastest man in the world and gold medal champion of the men’s 100M spring, was spotted in a mariner link necklace covered in pavé diamonds. The athlete has previously worn pieces by his local Florida jeweler The Village Jeweler so this necklace might be from the same store.

Lebron James

There’s no shortage of dapper men in the NBA but one reigns supreme: LeBron James. The L.A.
