The Best Jewelry Looks From the 2022 NAACP Image Awards
The NAACP Image Awards recognize achievement in film, television, theatre, music and literature by people of color in a way that few award shows ever have. And this year’s celebration had no shortage of A-list talent eager to honor their peers. Adorned in statement earrings and custom designs, many of the attendees’ jewelry looks left as dazzling an impression as the performances themselves.
Kerry Washington
Red carpet queen Kerry Washington was a vision in a pink Zuhair Murad gown, but the jewelry is what made her look for the NAACP Image Awards special. Washington wore pieces from De Beers’ Reflections of Nature High Jewelry collection, including the Motlatse Marvel Earrings, Landers Radiance Cluster Ring and the 66 carat De Beers Motlatse Marvel Necklace featuring 309 white and fancy colored diamonds.
Daniel Kaluuya
Less is more for Daniel Kaluuya’s NAACP Image Awards jewelry look. The dapper actor/writer accented his Gucci tuxedo with a single diamond ring.
Jennifer Hudson
Crowned the Entertainer of the Year for her role as Aretha in the biopic Respect, Jennifer Hudson paired her black Christian Siriano gown with jewelry from Gismondi 1754. Her mixed-cut, one-of-a-kind diamond drop earrings featured round brilliant-cut white diamonds and pear-cut white diamonds.
Zendaya
Styled by Law Roach, Zendaya gave major retro-inspired glam in a Valentino Haute Couture white wool coat and gray duchess satin dress from the Anatomy of Couture collection. She finished the look with white pumps and Vhernier’s Orecchini Disco Bianchi earrings.
Issa Rae
Insecure star and show creator Issa Rae accepted her NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series in a strapless Monsoori minidress with a voluminous train and waterfall diamond earrings.
