If there is one thing that this red carpet season has taught, a man not wearing diamonds is missing something. Diamond jewelry has long been the bow that wraps up our favorite female star’s outfits, but it has now become just as important for men. So important, in fact, that without the proper diamond accessorizing, the men of the red carpet just fall short. Here are the men of the 2022 Grammys that prove the key to a show-stopping look is more diamonds.

Nas performed a medley of his hit songs along with a new single while donning a grey double-breasted suit over a white t-shirt and elevated with a full diamond set watch from Pristine Jewelers and a diamond set Cuban link chain with a custom “N” pendant fully set with diamonds.  

Lil Nas X

If there’s one star who never fails to light up the red carpet, it’s Lil Nas X. His outspoken personality attributes to his music; landing him three nominations this year, but also to his style. The singer arrived in an embroidered ensemble, topped with pear-shaped diamond earrings and his infamous diamond grills, to which he says, “Oh these are classics. I wear these all the time.”

Giveon, nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Music Video showed up in a black Chanel suit over a black t-shirt layered with multiple diamond necklaces including a classic Chanel diamond pendant on a pearl and diamond chain.

The biggest winner of the night, Jon Batiste, taking home 5 Grammys including album of the year wore a custom yellow and black sequined suit from Dolce Gabbana paired with the Jack de Boucheron diamond wrap necklace, set with round and baguette diamonds, the Serpent Bohème necklace, set with diamonds on white gold, the Kaa ring, set with a 20-carat rubellite and round diamonds, and the Leopard Cat ring, set with a green cushion tourmaline, champagne round diamonds, cabochon emeralds, set on black lacquer, and pink gold. 

Lucky Daye

First-time Grammy winner Lucky Daye did not disappoint showing up in an electric green suit wearing diamond Cartier Panthere hoop earrings, a baguette diamond choker, and a diamond and sapphire brooch pin.
