Victoria Beckham’s Expansive Engagement Ring Collection Will Surprise You

Most people with a hefty engagement ring collection have had swaths of different suitors shoot their shot, get down on one knee, and ask for their hand in marriage. However, with 24 years of marriage under her belt, Victoria Beckham has managed to accumulate at least 15 engagement rings to her name. 

Soccer star David Beckham popped the question and proposed to the Spice Girls alum back in 1998. The couple announced their engagement with a press conference that January outside a Cheshire, England hotel, where Victoria showed off her marquise-cut diamond, set with a yellow gold band to photographers. Ever since, the pop star-turned-fashion designer has added over a dozen engagement rings to her collection of sparklers. Whether self-purchased or gifted by her longtime love, Victoria has worn a dazzling array of jaw-dropping natural diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires on her left ring finger. 

Shortly after the pair tied the knot in Ireland in 1999, Posh Spice made her first switch-up, opting for a new diamond-studded platinum eternity ring in place of her original marquise-cut diamond. 

By the time “Posh and Becks,” as they were adoringly dubbed, made it to the 2003 MTV Movie Awards in their iconic matching white Dolce & Gabbana ensembles, Victoria was sporting a whopping new emerald-cut diamond with side baguettes, set in platinum. 

As an bona fide fashion icon and the ultimate WAG, Victoria has often rotated pieces in and out of her expansive engagement ring Rolodex. Just when you think one has been chopped from her glittering repertoire, it makes a surprising reappearance on the fourth digit of her left hand, years later. 

While Ariana Grande may sing about “7 Rings,” we often look back on the different number of engagement rings received by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor (who was engaged 10 times) and Jennifer Lopez (who has been engaged six times), but VB seems to have them all beat in this category. 

One of the rare celebrity marriages with such longevity, Victoria and David share four children together, sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12.

As we walk down memory lane with the beloved couple with the release of the new four-part Netflix documentary Beckham, take a gander at the blindingly bright bling that has landed on Victoria’s left ring finger throughout the years. 

David proposed to Victoria in 1998 with a three-carat marquise-cut diamond, set with a yellow gold band. By the time of their wedding a year later, the couple added some extra bling with an updated pavé band.

By 2001, Victoria switched things up with a simple platinum eternity band, featuring a beveled edge and white diamonds which she would later revisit on occasion throughout the years.

Posh Spice showed off her new stunner at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards alongside an equally blinged-out David. The couple was dripping in crisp white matching Dolce & Gabbana and diamonds, while Victoria adorned a large emerald-cut diamond flanked with two side baguette stones and a platinum band. 

In 2004, Victoria began sporting a pink champagne oval-shaped diamond ring with a white diamond halo setting, purchased by David for his wife’s 30^th birthday. It reportedly cost him $1.1 million at the time. 

Sizing up, the pop culture icon opted for a huge 17-carat pear-shaped diamond on a platinum pavé band that reportedly cost $2 million at the time of purchase in 2005. Victoria recently repurposed the massive stone, wearing it as a pendant during her eldest son Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022. 

In 2006, Victoria debuted an emerald-cut yellow diamond ring set in a yellow gold pavé band, which she typically wore with two matching eternity bands. 

In 2008, Victoria began wearing a 15-carat emerald-cut diamond ring from Chopard with a pavé band for a timeless, classic addition to her plentiful collection. 

Rounding out her precious gemstone assortment, Victoria added a large, oval-shaped sapphire ring to the rotation, featuring a thin diamond pavé band. 

Minimizing her statement rings in scale, Victoria opted for a more subtle stone – an oval-shaped brilliant-cut pink diamond, set on a yellow gold pavé band.

In 2015, the former Spice Girl wore a round-cut diamond ring with two smaller round side stones, expected to weigh approximately 12 carats.

Attending the CFDA Awards in 2015, Victoria donned a Jacob & Co. moonstone ring, set in a diamond-embellished platinum band.

At the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Victoria showed off a new square-shaped cushion-cut diamond set on a thick platinum pavé band, estimated to be about 10 carats.

First spotted in 2018, Victoria has been continuously sporting a fancy intense natural yellow diamond set on a yellow gold pavé band for a couple of years now, with the ring’s most recent sighting being in 2022.
