Heidi Garnett is a writer, content creator and designer. She is co-founder of the popular jewelry social club Gem X and creator of the sensational online series of zoom talks Gemflix. In addition to penning the Natural Diamond Council's "In The Diamond Mind" column, in which she sits down with the top names in diamonds to talk about life and gemstones, Heidi's work has appeared in such publications as "The Wall Street Journal." Heidi holds Graduate Gemologist and Graduate Pearls degrees from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature and Political Science from Barnard College, Columbia University. After spending much of her life in New York City, Heidi recently moved to London, where she has enjoyed exploring a new art and jewelry scene. Beyond beautiful jewels, art and design, Heidi is passionate about the empowerment of women. She is an investing member of Portfolia Funds, where she backs and offers marketing as well as public relations council to companies led by women that she believes are changing the world for the better.
